Existing ranch style summer home on the lagoon was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy.  Courtney Lowry Architect was hired to design a new 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home to current FEMA standards which both maximized the lot and took advantage of the gorgeous lagoon views.  The new house was designed on 23 piles with 2 car garage below which opens to the yard for ease of utilizing for summer storage. The first floor design incorporates a beautiful eat in kitchen and casual dining area which opens up to a 2 story rear family room with covered outdoor deck.  There is now a large first floor master suite facing the lagoon with 3 additional bedrooms and children's living room above. The children's living room also overlooks the 2 story family room with access to large second floor rear deck, also facing the lagoon.

Located in a prime Maplewood neighborhood on a charming tree-lined street, this 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath fully renovated home is the perfect house for a growing family. A rear one story addition was added to create space for a new powder room and mudroom on the first floor. The entire interior of home was renovated, top to bottom, including a new open kitchen, all new bathroom fixtures and finishes, refinished original hardwood floors, paint, trim, door, windows, and roof. Finally, the original wood shakes got a fresh coat of paint.
